120 Days | Come Out (The Field Remix)

Ugh… Northern Europe! First vikings, then black metal, and now you’re shying away from your ABBA heritage and pumping out tons of great electronic music. Vice‘s 120 Days are a good example of this. Cause of they’re Norwegian and also because of what I just said. It’s as dancey as it is thoughtful. Like some chick that rolled around in glue and then dusted herself with sugar and diamond dust.

What’s even better? My favorite Dutch dude since maybe Spinoza remixing them. The Field is incredible and incredibly simple. He’s managed to bring very dronal loops into vogue by wielding the totally awesome +2 sword I like to call “subtlety”. From Here We Go Sublime was one of my favorite records last year and a lot of what made it so good is carried over in this remix.
